Q: Can TMAA guarantee I will get work after my course?

A: The academy can never guarantee you will get work after completing you course. The amount of success you accomplish as you enter or continue your career as a make-up artist will depend on the amount of work you are will to put in. TMAA will give you the skills and confidence necessary to face the make-up industry head on!

Q: Will I receive certificates or qualifications upon completing my course?

A: Make-up artistry is a portfolio driven not a certificate based industry. Some schools will claim you may need a professional qualification of some kind but do not be fooled, to build a successful career as a make-up artist you will need skill, training and a great portfolio of images and TMAA offers you all of the above.

If you are up for a job as a make-up artist you will be asked for your portfolio not your qualification.

You will receive a the TMAA Certificate of Completion as proof of your professional training and course completion.

Q: How old do I have to be to take a course?

A: You do not need to be over 18 to take TMAA online course but all under 18s must have permission to purchase and take these online courses.

Terms & Conditions

The academy accepts 25% deposit to hold your places on an up coming course. All remaining fees are meant to be paid no later than two weeks before the course start date.

Deposits are non refundable or exchangeable, all deposits are taken off of your total course price.

Any course student unable to attend a course for any reason including, personal problems, illness, other commitments, etc. will not receive a refund of any deposits or course fees paid, and no transfer of course dates will take place.

Students will not be accepted onto a course if all course fees and balances have not been paid two weeks prior to the start date.

The Academy reserves the right to re-schedule the course and no refund will be payable.

All courses and fees are subject to change without prior notice.

Course fees will not be refunded should a course be cancelled or interrupted for through any act of God or emergency.



1. The Makeup Art Academy is committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the security of any personal information received from you. We strictly adhere to the requirements of the data protection legislation.

2. We do not sell, rent or exchange your personal information with any third party for commercial reasons unless you give us your prior consent to do so.

We do not collect sensitive information about you except when you specifically knowingly provide it.

4. We will not transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) without first obtaining your consent.
